Fertilizing and Weed Control
Fertilizing is an important part of your lawns health. Too much fertilizer, not enough fertilizer, or fertilizer applied at the wrong time can weaken your lawn and allow weeds to enter. Our objective is to apply the right amount of fertilizer at the right time. Weed and pest control applications are done as needed, only when needed. We can tailor a program for your lawn or budget.

We use only professional products and apply them safely. Children and pet safety is a priority, not a problem.

Lawn Aerating

Aeration is the practice of removing cores of soil from the upper layer of the lawn. This will help loosen the soil and allow roots to spread, water and air to enter and fertilizers to be more effective. If your soil feels hard (pushing a screwdriver in 3" is very difficult) or water does not soak in, then your lawn may benefit from aerating.

Aeration is a great way to reduce thatch, loosen up compacted soils and make it easier for water and nutrients to reach the roots of your turf.  Over time without regular care, lawns can thin out and lose color due to excessive thatch buildup, hard or compacted soils, or periods of high temperature, high humidity, or drought. Aerifying and overseeding is recognized by turf experts such as golf course superintendents as the best treatment to control thatch, reduce compaction, fill-in bare spots and revitalize growth.

Spring and Fall Cleanups
Lawn cleanups are an important part of lawn maintenance. Lawn and landscaped areas should have leaves and debris removed to ensure healthy plants and deter pest damage. Gutters and concrete areas should be cleaned also to prevent clogs and staining. Spring cleanups are started as soon as the soil is firm enough to handle the equipment, and Fall cleanups are done until the soil freezes.
